- Description
- The Army Contracting Agency, Directorate of Contracting at Fort Bragg, NC, intends to issue a solicitation for a requirement to lease two (2) commercial designed variable reach, reach stackers to lift, stack, and transport 20 to 40 International St andards Organization (ISO) containers-empty or loaded in support of container operations. Lease will be for 12 months. The Government will furnish operators. Both reach stackers must be delivered and fully operational no later than 1 April 2008. The r equirement will be a 100% set aside for Small Business Concerns. The NAICS code is 532412 with a size standard of $6.5M. A Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated. A 12-month period of performance is anticipated. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) will b e issued under solicitation number W91247-08-T-0026. The RFQ will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of th e solicitation package and any amendments. All Offerors must be registered with the Central Contractors Registry (CCR) per FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration. Offerors must also complete Offeror Representations and Certifications on-line at www. bpn.gov prior to submitting an offer. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored. The anticipated posting of the RFQ is 4 Feb 2008.
