Description
The U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY (USMA) intends to solicit for Maintenance, Inspection & Repair Services for Two (2) Detroit Diesel Generators and Russelectric Switchgear and Automatic Transfer Switches at the Keller Army Community Hospita l (KACH) under a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a base period from 1 April to 30 September 2008 and Four (4) one-year Option Periods. The Contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, material, equipment, tools, and supervision necessary to perf orm preventive maintenance, full load bank testing, inspections, repairs, and emergency repairs on Two (2) Detroit Diesel Generators and preventive maintenance on Russelectric Control Switchgear and Automatic Transfer Switches located at KACH. The Contractor shall be required to perform periodic maintenance and inspection services (including a full-load bank test) on a regular basis and to perform emergency repair services, as needed. In the event of emergency, the Contractor shall be required to respond on-site within Four (4) hours. The Contractor shall also be responsible for providing replacement parts required in connection with performance of services under the contract, subject to all necessary approvals of the Contracting Officer's R epresentative. There will be a Contractor Manpower Reporting (CMR) requirement under the contract to be awarded. The Solicitation will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at https://acquisition.army.mil on or about 29 February 2008 and will close on or about 17 March 2008. The Solicitation shall be limited to small-business concerns nationwide. Contractors will be required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations & Certifications Application (ORCA) databases. Failure to register in CCR and/or ORCA shall make an offeror ineligible for award. Information regarding CCR may be obtained by phoning 1-800-227-2423 or accessing the website at http://www.ccr.gov and ORCA at https://orca.bpn.gov. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
