- The 42nd Contracting Squadron, 50 LeMay Plaza South, Bldg 804, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112 will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Warehouse and Storage Management Services for the Air Force Institute for Advanced Distributed Learning (AFIADL), 50 S. Turner Blvd., Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, AL 36118-5643 on or about 29 February 2008. Prospective vendors should have experience in providing warehouse and storage management services to the government or commercial firms. This acquisition is a total Small Business Set-Aside and will be awarded as a Firm-Fixed price contract for a base period plus four one-year options. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 493190 and the small business size standard is $23,500,000. Request for Proposal (RFP) #FA3300-08-R-0005 will be posted separately on the FedBizOpps (FBO) website at http://www.fbo.gov/. Paper copies of the RFP will not be available; you may download the RFP and submit your proposal as required. It is incumbent upon all interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates or amendments to any and all documents. A site visit to the AFIADL warehouse facility at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, AL is tentatively scheduled for 9:30AM CST on Wednesday 26 March 2008 and prospective vendors are required to attend. Please pre-register for the site visit by email to frank.spencer@maxwell.af.mil by 14 Mar 2008. Questions regarding the RFP must be received in writing via email not later than 4PM CST on 11 April 2008 and a consolidated listing of all questions and answers will be posted on this website. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All offerors responding to the RFP must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system, which can be accomplished via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov., the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) invoicing and receiving report database at http://www.wawf.eb.mil, and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://www.bpn.gov. Vendors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration system (CCR) or Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) are ineligible for award.
