Description
HUBZONE SET-ASIDE ONLY. Multiple-Award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for maintenance, repair, remodeling, renovation, minor engineering/design and new construction services. The scope of work for the resultant contract will be primarily a broad range of general construction type projects (new construction and renovations) including but not limited to the administrative, recreational, housing facilities, workshop and maintenance facilities, and laboratory facilities assigned to the Supervisors Office, Pisgah, Nantahala and Uwharrie National Forests in N.C. and the Southern Research Station, USDA Forest Service. The majority of the work will be construction in the western region of the State of North Carolina. Some tasks may involve engineering/design work incidental to other work activities. Offerors will be required to submit technical and price proposals for a pilot project that will be included in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available for download from www.fedbizopps.gov on/after 3/12/08. Task orders will typically range between $25,000 and $1,500,000. Contractors will need to ensure they are able to secure bonding sufficient to potentially handle several projects at the same time. There will be a $5,000,000 ceiling against the resultant contract. Offerors are encouraged to register to receive notification as to the upload of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments. Offerors are further notified of the requirement to be HUBZONE certified at the time of submission of a proposal in order to be considered for award.
