- THE FBI IS RESCINDING THE AWARD NOTICE POSTED FOR THIS RFQ AT THIS TIME - AWARD IS NOT BEING MADE TO ENTRY TEAM COMMUNICATIONS AT THIS TIME. THANK YOU. PREVIOUS POSTING (THIS IS NOT A NEW POSTING - PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND): This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number RFQ-C001622 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This RFQ is issued under full and open competition and is restricted 100% to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program as defined in the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 334290 and the small business size standard is 750 employees or less. Award will be made to the low cost technically acceptable offeror. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has a requirement to purchase 100 Peltor Headsets, model number MT17H682FB-47. Brand name products are required. Shipping shall be FOB Destination to Quantico, VA. Questions regarding this RFQ should be submitted via email no later than January 23, 2008 at 10:00 AM to Andrea Irwin at andrea.campbell@ic.fbi.gov. All questions and answers will be posted on FedBuzOpps no later than January 25, 2008 at 5:00 PM EST. Interested parties should identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by submitting proposals to this office no later than 10:00 AM, EST, January 30, 2008. Quotes shall be submitted via email to Andrea Campbell Irwin at andrea.campbell@ic.fbi.gov or faxed to 703-632-6103. Other methods of submission including hand deliveries will not be accepted. Include a quote for each of the items listed above. Include part numbers, description, quantity, and prices. Be sure to include your company?s DUNS#, TIN#, address, and point of contact. The successful offeror will be low cost technically acceptable. This RFQ incorporates the provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation Circular 2005-25, effective December 26, 2007. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. The provision at FAR Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors (Nov 2007) and addendum are incorporated into this solicitation. Addendum to 52.212-1, Modify: (b) Submission of offer(s) is to read as follows: "Submit offers electronically to andrea.campbell@ic.fbi.gov or via fax to 703-632-6103." Provision 52.212-2 Evaluation, Commercial Items (Jan 1999) is incorporated by reference. This requirement will be awarded to the low price technically acceptable (LPTA) offeror. Provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Nov 2007) is incorporated. Contractors may submit their online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at the following government portal: http://orca.bpn.gov. Clauses 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Feb 2007), and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders, Commercial Items (Dec 2007), apply to this solicitation.
