- Description (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation/synopsis reference number is F3M3C28028A001 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16. (iv) This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 238210 with a $13 Million size standard. (v) This requirement consists of one Line Item: Furnish and Repair light fixtures, on the Green Ramp. The resultant contract will be a NOT TO EXCEED amount. Pricing shall be FOB Destination. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. (vi) The contractor shall provide all tools, supplies, labor, equipment and transportation necessary to furnish and repair, replace all bulbs and ballasts for 100 fixtures. (1) NTE 100 ? 1500 watt MH bulbs and (2) NTE 100 ? Multi-tap ballast for MH bulbs. Contractor shall replace all louver clips with stainless steel clips. Contractor shall replace all seals for proper protection from outside elements to prevent moister build-up as well as replacing all screws on ballast box. Contractor will replace all star washers on all 100 fixtures. Replace five bad fuse type FLSR 15AMP 600V and one selector switch type GE CR104P on pole 14, located on the Green Ramp at Pope AFB, NC. Contractor shall clean up site daily. Work hours shall be 0730-1615, Monday through Friday. All work shall be completed within 30 days of Contract Award. Changes and/or modifications must have prior written approval from the Contracting Officer. The contractor shall fill out and return Pope AFB form IMT 3140 (consent for background check) for all workmen 7 days prior to start of project, for obtaining base passes. The contractor shall guarantee and warranty all materials, equipment, and workmanship for a minimum period of one year from the date of final acceptance. The contractor is responsible for any damages caused to government facilities.
