- NOTICE TO INDUSTRY The High Frequency Global Communications System (HFGCS), System Program Office (SPO), at Tinker Air Force Base (AFB), OK, anticipates future need for contract coverage. This sources sought synopsis is being posted for industry to: obtain competition; involve interested parties; provide advance procurement notice; and to receive feedback regarding communication sector related market conditions, standards, or business practices. HFGCS SPO MISSION The HFGCS mission directly supports the Department of Defense (DoD) High Frequency (HF) Global Command and Control System. The HFGCS SPO manages: HF antennas; various DoD communication assets; related legacy products; and site maintenance at numerous CONUS/OCONUS locations. GENERAL PROCUREMENT DESCRIPTION 727 ACSG/PKC is providing this sources sought synopsis to foster marketplace interest for a HFGCS Antenna Program Support (HFGCS APS) acquisition that would require performance-based services such as: maintenance, inspection, installation of HF antennas and HF antenna sub-systems, and commodity (product) management at several worldwide locations. INDUSTRY DAY EVENT The HFGCS SPO and 727 ACSG/PKC expect to conduct an Industry Day in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, area sometime during early to mid January 2007. This meeting is open to all interested parties and the Government highly encourages market participation at this event. Any prospective contractors that wish to attend this Industry Day shall submit a request to the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) in writing via email (Mark.Luckritz@tinker.af.mil) as soon as possible. When sending participation notices to the PCO, clearly label the email subject line as ?HFGCS APS Industry Day Attendance Request? and include information regarding: names of all Industry Day attendees; business name; CAGE code; point of contact (POC) phone number; POC email address; POC facsimile number; and company website address.
