- Description
- Non-Personal Services for Delivery of CONTRACTOR-OWNED, commerical Surgical Gowns and Pickup Services in Support of Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland AFB, Texas. This is a presolicitation notice for NON-PERSONAL SERVICES to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and other items and services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Contractor shall demonstrate the knowledge, capacity and skills necessary to perform Services which include but are not limited to: (1) The off-site laundering of surgical gowns, (2) Sterilization assembly to include liquid resistant and liquid proof gowns. The Government is anticipating awarding a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The anticipated contract will be for a base period beginning 01 Dec 2007 through 30 Sep 2008 with Four one-year options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 812331. THIS ACQUISITION IS BEING ISSUED AS AN UNRESTRICTED, FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION REQUIREMENT UTILIZING SIMPLIFIED PROCEDURES AUTHORIZED BY FAR 13.5, TEST PROGRAM FOR CERTAIN COMMERICAL ITEMS. The Service Contract Act of 1965 as amended applies to this requirement. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote and will be posted at Fed Biz Ops (http://www.eps.gov) electronically, on or about 15 Nov 2007. NO HARD COPIES will be provided. The solicitation must be downloaded from the internet. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All responsible sources may submit a quotation that will be considered by this Agency. All prospective quoters interested in submitting a quote on this solicitation must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database with a commercial and government entity code (CAGE CODE). CCR information can be obtained by accessing www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. All prospective Contractors interested in submitting a quote on this solicitation must complete electronic annual representations and certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
