- Little Rock, Arkansas District Corps of Engineers intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the purchase of 20 generator air coolers and components, i.e. pipe, ball valves, gate valves, elbows, flanges, etc. for the Norfork Power Plant, Nor fork Lake, Salesville, Arkansas. The requirement is for components only; installation will be performed by the government. The solicitation will be available on or about 15 February, 2008. Bids will be due 4 March 2008. Anticipated award is 7 March 20 08. The government anticipates awarding one firm, fixed price contract, using low price process. NAICS Code is 332410 which has a small business size standard of 500 employees. The acquisition will be 100% set aside for small businesses.
