- The purpose of this presolicitation announcement is to advise that the government is issuing a Solicitation today for a Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract in the Kansas, Missouri area. This construction project is construction of Missouri River Bank stabilization river mile 400 to 130. Work to be performed includes, but is not limited to, repairing dikes and revetments on the Missouri River 400 and River Mile 130. Repairs consist of placing new quarry-run stone as well as excavating notches, an d salvaging and then replacing stone from specified dikes and revetments. The magnitude of this project is between $1million and $5 million. The NAICS code is 237990 with a size standard of $31,000,000.00. Solicitation Packet will be made available thr ough the FedTEDS website at www.fedteds.gov on or about 10 March 2008. Site visit is scheduled for March 18, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. Participants will meet at the Missouri River Office 790 E. 224 Hwy, Napoleon, Mo. 64074-7001. This will be the only organized s ite visit for this project. The Solicitations must be received at the Contracting Office by 10:00 AM (local time) on April 9, 2008. Please note that to be eligible for award of this project; you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (C CR) database at the CCR website which is www.ccr.gov. Additionally you must complete your Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at the ORCA website which is orca.bpn.gov.
