- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number for this acquisition is F1JBAB8052A001. The solicitation document and incorporate provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-12 (4 Aug 2006) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement change notice 20060814. It is the Offeror?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 339112 with a standard size of 500 employees. This commercial acquisition is for Jacketed External Telemetry System to monitor up to 6 bio-potential signals non-invasively, plus surface/skin temperature and activity. This is for a non-GLP system and the infrastructure can be used with the current total implant system. This system will not be connected to the network. This acquisition is set-aside for 100% Small Business. The type of contract anticipated is firm-fixed price. This procurement is to be processed using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and in conjunction with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items.
