- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of bag-in-box beverage, dispensing equipment, and service for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) located in Pekin, Illinois. Estimated yearly contract requirements include approximately 1835 five gallon cases of non-carbonated Kosher approved bag-in-box beverage per year and seven (7) each bag-in-box dispensing systems with ice dispenser and full maintenance services. The award will be made to the responsible contractor who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding an indefinite-delivery requirements? type contract with firm-fixed prices. The contract period shall consist of a 12-month base period with four 12 month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be available on or about March 4, 2008 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about March 27, 2008. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 424490. The solicitation will be unrestricted. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a quote.
