****ATTENTION****FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO JANICE CORLEW. You may fax or mail your request ATTN: AMSAM-AC-DL-AC, Janice Corlew, Contract Specialist, Cynthia Hargrove, Contracting Officer, FAX number 256-8 76-6628. No telephone requests will be accepted. PRON: AX8C0130AXAX, NSN: 3040-01-432-6163, PN: 145S1877-1, Quantity: 55 each applicable to the CH-47 (CHINOOK). F.O.B Origin with delivery to Texarkana, TX 75507-5000. The required delivery schedule with out first article is anticipated to be 55 each 400 Days After Contract Award (DACA). This is a Critical Safety item. This item is restricted to The Boeing Company, Cage Code: 77272 because this part requires engineering source approval by the design contr ol activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Adequate technical data i s not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek s ource approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be c onsidered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
