- VA VISN 22 Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach California intends to enter into a sole source contract with A&E Textile Recovery Inc. 2365 Via Segundo, San Diego, CA 92173. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1-only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-23. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Request for Quotation is RFQ VA-262-08-RQ-0144IM. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 812331. The solicitation shall be available on or about February 27, 2008. This procurement is to obtain Linen pick-up, recovery, repair and delivery services for the Textile Care Facility (TFC) for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90073. The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, personnel, transportation and equipment to perform linen recovery & repair services. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Point of contact is Imelda M.
