- Combined Solicitation W912K6-08-Q-1002 Modification Description Solicitation Response date is extended to 29 February 2008. The following information is provided based on submitted questions by email and telephone. 1. What is the Color/Pattern? See Specifications below. 2. Is equal substitution allowed? Yes, Reference FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal 3. Is there a form 1449 with details? No 4. Does the Tactical Vest need to be compliant with the Berry Amendment and USA made? Refer to DFARS 252.225-7001 Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program for end product compliance and DFARS 225.7002-2 Exceptions (Berry Amendment). This acquisition is anticipated to be at or below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold.<BR >------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The specifications below are characteristics of the Condor MOLLE Tactical Vest with 8 Pouches (28754) brand name. The equal product must meet the listed specifi cations: Army ACU Pattern; Gas mask pouch, 1 double M4 magazine pouch, 1 double pistol magazine pouch, utility pouch, 40mm grenade pouch, Radio Pocket, 2 interior zip-up document pockets (one each on left and right hand side), heavy webbing over ves t for modular pouch attachment, vest mounted on tough nylon mesh aiding ventilation, front zip, dual padded rifle shoulder pad with lock-in guide, double-ply mesh in rear to allow for addition of hydration bladder, carry handle with additional attachment s trips across the back, drawstrings under both arms to allow for even adjustment.
