- This pre-solicitation notice is for Maintenance and Repair (M&R) of the Barnes Bldg , Boston, MA. The award will be an Firm-fixed price type contract with a base period and two 12 month option periods. The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor , transportation, materials, equipment, supervision, and appliances to complete and perform all operations for the inspection, maintenance, service, adjustment, and repair. This acquisition is 100% set aside for 8(a) Disadvantaged small busines s and is b eing procured under the Commercial Test Program, FAR 13.5. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 236220. Prospective Contractors must be a Small Business Association Certified 8(a) business, as verified on CCR and ORCA. Wag es applicable to this operation are covered under Department of Labor Wage Determination WD 05-2255 07/10/2007. The government will evaluate all proposals on a price and relevant past performance that represents the best overall value to the Government. The solicitation will be posted on or about 3 March 2008 via Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquistion to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The solicitation will include Federal Acquisition Regulation co ntract provisions and c lauses, a bid schedule, and performance work statement. The performance work statement will include details of required work elements. It is the responsibility of offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, upda tes or changes to the solicita tion. No hard copies will be mailed. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Internet site, www.ccr.gov, under the appropriate small business cate gory and NAICS.
