Description

The Hefner VAMC, Salisbury, NC is seeking the services of a qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business to provide all labor, materials, transportation, equipment and supervision to replace the existing HVAC systems in Building 4. All work shall be completed within 270 calendar days after date of receipt of notice to proceed. This includes final clean-up. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238220. The estimated dollar amount of this procurement is between $250,000 and $500,000.00. The specifications will be uploaded on/about March 4, 2008. The bid opening will be on/about April 8, 2008. The deadline for receipt of questions is one week prior to the bid opening. Firms interested in bidding must request drawings in writing; no telephone requests will be received. The Contracting Officer's email address is jolette.morrison@va.gov. The bidder is responsible for the readability of faxed requests. Twenty-five sets of drawings are available and will be issued on a first come, first-served basis until the supply is exhausted. A pre-bid/walk-through will be held March 19, 2008 at 2:00 pm in Bldg 21, Rm. BB-128. Firms requesting drawings must be registered at both Central Contractor Registry and Vet Biz. The Online Representations and Certifications must be completed by each bidder prior to the bid opening. Government-wide numbered note 29 applies to this procurement.
