- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award, to a responsible quoter for the provision of dairy/milk products for the Federal Correctional Complex, Petersburg, 1060 River Road, Hopewell, Virginia 23060. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and two one-year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government. The successful contractor shall provide diary/milk products consistent with community standards. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 424430. Products will be delivered to a Federal Correctional Complex. Yearly contract requirements include an estimated: (1)30,000 Milk, Reduced Fat (2%), Half pints; (2) 80,000 Milk, Reduced Fat, (2%) Bulk, Five Gallon Container; (3) 30,000 Milk, Skim, Non-fat, Bulk, Five Gallon Container; (4) 10,000 lbs Cheese, Cottage, Type III, (Regular), Subgroup 1 or 2, Class 1, (Unflavored) Style A or B, Small or Large Curd, 5 lb Container. The solicitation will be made available on or about February 14, 2008, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about March 7, 2008. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
