- Description
- The United States Government intends to award a lease, using other than full and open competition to NOP 8484 Georgia Avenue, LLC for expansion space for an office of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) located at 8484 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland. It has been determined that the expansion space must be collocated with the existing office and that an expansion within the building will result in less cost to the federal government when economies of moving, telecommunications, security, and duplication of tenant improvements are taken into consideration as an economic factor. This lease will be for 6,706 rentable square feet of fully serviced space for a five-year two-month firm term. Those occupying the space will have access to a generator and secure communication areas. The total space occupied by the agency will be approximately 16,000 rentable square feet.
