- Description
- NAICS Code 238220. Work includes, but is not limited to: installation of a new sprinkler system in approximately 7,000 square feet of lawn area, including all new controls valves, controller and zone valves. The existing system will be abandoned in place. All work will be performed at the Federal Building, Aberdeen, South Dakota. Security clearances will be required for all workers. To be eligible for award, contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov. Work to be completed within 45 calendar days after notice to proceed, to be issued on or around May 15, 2008. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will be issued February 28, 2008, with offers due on March 19, 2008. Anticipated award date is March 31, 2008. The solicitation will be made available electronically at the FedBizOpps website on the Internet at http://www.fbo.gov. This site provides instructions for downloading documents. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the site for the release of the solicitation and amendments, if any. A limited number of paper copies of the solicitation will be made available. Requests for paper copies must be made in writing to the Contracting Officer at PO Box 19, Aberdeen, SD 57402. Fax requests will be accepted at 605-226-7305. In addition, the subject drawings for this solicitation cannot be posted electronically. Requests for drawings must be made in writing to the Contracting Officer as previously instructed. This procurement is being set-aside for emerging small businesses only in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. All responsible sources submitting an offer will be considered. Information regarding a site visit will be announced in the solicitation. A site visit is recommended.
