- Description
- Work includes channel excavation and installation of revetment mat slope protection with two (2) executable options for further work. The major features of work for the basic contract include: channel excavation from upstream end of West Carson Str eet culvert to just downstream of the Northfolk Southern railroad bridge and installation of revetment mat slope protection on the right bank at former location of the Plank Street bridge and on the left bank between Plank Street and Alexander Street. The work for awardable option no. 1 includes: channel excavation inside the CSX RR and West Carson Street culverts, placement of concrete floor slab inside the West Carson Street culvert and installation sheet pile walls and stone protection at creek outfall t o Ohio River. The work for awardable option no. 2 includes the protection of the South Main Street Bridge abutments by placement on concrete floor slab and walls. PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WILL BE POSTED TO FEDTEDS ON/ABOUT 14 MARCH 2008 AND MAY B E DOWNLOADED VIA AUTHORIZED LOGIN. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE DIRECTLY FROM THE CONTRACT SPECIALIST. YOU MUST HAVE A FEDTEDS LOGIN TO DOWNLOAD THE SOLICITATION PACKAGE.
