- SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE FEDTEDS WEBSITE (www.fedteds.gov)on or about 14 Feb. 2008. The requirement of this contract is for the clean-up of downed trees, tree limbs, tree debris, root balls, root ball cavities, and specific sta nding hazardous trees located in Rooks Park, Walla Walla, WA. The work to be performed includes five separate items. Four of the items are to be performed in the Irrigated Lawn Areas and the Parking Lot at Rooks Park. These requirements do not inc lude any trees or debris outside of the irrigated lawn areas (i.e.-trees extending into the brush area). The other item is felling two standing cottonwood trees that are growing in the brushy area (specified on the map to be provided at the Site Visit). The recent windstorm caused damage to numerous trees on Corps of Engineer Property known as Rooks Park. All trees/debris included under this contract are lying in the Park and in the Parking Lot. There are approximately 29 large trees and many sma ller limbs that are to be cleared and moved to a designated disposal site. Most of these trees are Cottonwoods. LOCATION: Rooks Park, Mill Creek Project, is located about one mile east of Walla Walla, WA approximately one-quarter of a mile south of Mill Creek Road on Rooks Park Rd.
