Description

The US Army CECOM LCMC intends to acquire repair/overhaul services for the AN/FPN-66A Air Traffic Control (ATC) Radar Surveillance Systems and Line Replaceable Units (LRU) and preventive maintenance training. This requirement will result in a non-co mpetitive award to Thales ATM Inc, Shawnee, Kansas under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. Thales has been the only responsible source who has demonstrated the necessary technical expertise and facilities to perform the required services . The resulting contract will be a five-year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract; including both Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) and Time and Materials (T&M) components. The estimated maximum dollar value over the life of this effort is $8,000 ,000.00. Formal solicitation is expected to be released on or about 30 October 2007. See note 22.
