- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Jacksonville, Florida intends to solicit proposals for providing administrative security support services for Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida, Naval Station Mayport, Florida and Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia. Services include: vehicle pass and registration services, personnel identification and badging services, traffic court administrative services, parking regulation enforcement, security department admin support and general office administration. The proposal will be an OMB Circular A-76 Cost Comparison Study. The purpose of this study is to determine the most efficient and cost effective method of providing administrative security support services for the three bases listed above. In accordance with OMB Circular A-76, the offer determined to represent the best value to the Government will be compared to the Government?s proposal to perform the above services. Commercial proposals will not result in a contract if Government performance is determined to be more advantageous. The projected date for issuance of the solicitation is early January 2003. Please note that this is the same requirement that was earlier published under N68836-02-R-0008. If you responded to one of the earlier synopsis? for this procurement you do not have to respond again. If you are interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation please contact the contracting office or check back with the FedBizOpps website where the solicitation will be posted once released. This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561110. When submitting requests, please refer to solicitation number N68836-03-R-0008. The contract for these services will have a base year period of one year, which will include a 60 day transition period. There will also be four (4) one-year options. All contractors must be CCR registered in order to be eligible for award. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (22-NOV-2002).
