- Description
- The Naval Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis a Firm Fixed Priced contract with Hydro Engineering Inc. for four Steam Cleaners. This is a fully self-contained portable cleaning system. The Government intends to procure this equipment under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Section 6.302-1. The Hydro Engineering Steam Cleaner is unique in its specific ability to clean and decontaminate the V-22's engine for regular maintenance of the aircraft. It has been qualified and tested to support the V-22. However, the Government will consider all responses within 15 days after the publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (11-OCT-2007).
