- Description
- This is a PRESOLICITATION NOTICE for complete janitorial services for the Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House, located at One Bowling Green, New York, NY. The contract will be for a one-year base period with four (4), one-year options to be exercised at the Government's discretion. The contract is expected to commence on August 1, 2008. The work includes but are not limited to interior and exterior building cleaning, window washing, carpet cleaning, trash and solid waste disposal/removal, insect and rodent control, snow removal, stripping/waxing of floors, and recycling. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment and supplies necessary to meet all janitorial and related service requirements. For informational purposes only, the gross area of the building is 517,939 square feet and the occupiable gross area is approximately 203,350 square feet. THIS PROCUREMENT WILL BE AN 8(A) COMPETITIVE SET ASIDE. See Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 19.802 for eligibility of certified 8(a) concerns. In addition, 8(a) concern's average annual revenue for the preceding three (3) fiscal years may not exceed $15 million under NAICS code 561720, Janitorial Services. This will be a negotiated procurement, using the lowest-price, technically acceptable process. Non-price evaluation factors (e.g. past performance) along with price will be considered in evaluating proposals. The solicitation will be transmitted on the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE), which may be accessed via the Internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about March 3, 2008 with a closing date expected on or about April 3, 2008.
