- Description
- The US Special Operations Command has a requirement for 51 each Voice and Data Recorders, P/N 180383-002, Model 3253K6, for use on the MH-47 and MH-60 special forces aircraft. The Government does not have the specifications,drawings or technical data to allow for full and open competition. Units must have airworthiness qualification prior to installation on the aircraft which will start in November 2008. 24 each will be procured in FY2008, 20 each in FY2009 and 7 each in 2010. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item are requested to identify themselves to the contracting officer. Deliveries to Ft. Campbell, KY. Pursuant to FAR 6.302, intended source is General Electric Aviation Systems LLC, 3290 Patterson Avenue, SE, Grand Rapids, MI, 49512. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. See Note 22
