- NAICS Code: 721199 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Wastewater Management (OWM) intends to award a firm-fixed price Purchase Order for conference facilities for April 1-2, 2008, overnight accomodations for 100 on April 1, 2008, and associated audio-visual needs and requirements for both days. All meals will also be provided on-site. The large conference room shall accommodate at least 100 people and the small breakout rooms shall accommodate at least 25 people. The audio-visual requirements include an LCD Screen, projector screen, four (4) flipcharts, microphone, remote slide changer, overhead projector and audio mixer. The meeting will run from 12:00pm -8:00pm on April 1, 2008 and from 8:00am-2:30pm on April 2, 2008. The conference will be held in the National Capital Region (Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, or Maryland). All contractors shall submit a firm-fixed price quote for the requirements listed above. All customary charges should be included with any offered quote. All quotes will be evaluated by the lowest-priced, technically acceptable standard. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered by the Agency. Interested vendors will be responsible for the timely submission of their quote. Please include your name, point of contact, address, area code and telephone number, facsimile number, Dun and Bradstreet number, proof of registration in the Central Contractor Registration, GSA number, if applicable, and business size and classification (e.g., woman or minority owned; 8(a), etc.). All responsive sources shall provides answers to the following questions, in accordance with EPAAR 1552.223-71, the Green Meetings and Conferences Final Rule: (a) Do you have a recycling program? If so, please describe. (b) Do you have a linen/towel reuse option that is communicated to guests? (c) Do guests have easy access to public transportation or shuttle services at your facility (d) Are lights and air conditioning turned off when rooms are not in use? If so, how do you ensure this? (e) Do you provide bulk dispensers or reusable containers for beverages, food and condiments (f) Do you provide reusable serving utensils, napkins and tablecloths when food and beverages are served (g) Do you have an energy efficiency program? Please describe. (h) Do you have a water conservation program? Please describe. (i) Does your facility provide guests with paperless check-in and check-out (j) Does your facility use recycled or recyclable products? Please describe. (k) Do you source food from local growers or take into account the growing practices of farmers that provide the food? Please describe. (l) Do you use biobased or biodegradable products, including biobased cafeteriaware (m) Do you provide training to your employees on these green initiatives? Please describe. (n) What other environmental intiatives have you undertaken, including any environment-related certifications you possess, EPA voluntary partnerships in which you participate, support of a green suppliers network, or other initiatives?
