- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) China Lake, CA intends to enter into negotiations for a firm fixed price contract on a full and open competition basis for a Bench-top analytical gas chromatograph - mass spectrometer (GC_MS) system. It will consist of a gas chromatograph, a quadrupole mass spectrometer, an assortment of sample preparation/introduction tools, a data station, and all other components necessary to operate the instrument as an integrated system. The sample preparation/introduction tools must include 1) Direct insertion and direct exposure probes for rapid screening of purified materials. 2) A liquids autosampler, 3) a solid-phase microextraction (SPME) autosampler. 4) A purge-and trap autosampler for volatile measurements of liquid samples via EPA methods 524, 624 and 8260. The quotation with a detailed list of specifications will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online Website at http://www.neco.navy.mil and the FEBBIZOPPS website at http://vsearch2.eps.gov/servlet/searchservlet on or about 2/19/08. The solicitation will close on or about 3/19/08. All responsible sources must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at the following website: https://www.ccr.dlis.mil/ccr/scripts/index.html. Award will be issued under the authority of the test program for commercial items (FAR 13.5). All responsible sources may submit a quotation that will be considered by the agency. Responses must include all information requested in the written Request for Quotation (RFQ). Evaluation for the award will consider price and other factors including technical capability.
