Description: Seedling Planting FAQ080037 The Bureau of Land Management, Nevada State Office, is seeking a qualified vendor to furnish labor, equipment, supplies, storage and materials to hand plant seedlings. Solicitation Number FAQ080037 will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the planting of the seedlings. DESCRIPTION/LOCATION OF WORK - The contractor will furnish labor, equipment, supplies, storage and materials to hand plant antelope bitterbrush one year old bareroot seedlings, install both 36" x 36" mulch sheets and 4" diameter x 24" tall mesh plastic seedling protection tubes on the planted seedlings. There are approximately 11,000 bareroot seedlings (?365 seedlings/acre) for 30 acres for planting, 30 acres for mulching, and 30 acres for tubing installation Work under this contract is located on BLM lands administered by the Winnemucca Field Office in Nevada. The project site is located at the 2006 New York Peak Fire approximately 7 miles north of the Leonard Creek Ranch, Humboldt County, Nevada. Project area maps showing planting areas and a general vicinity map and a complete statement of work will be included in the solicitation package. Solicitation package will be available electronically on or about February 26, 2008. Please print the Standard form (SF)-18 and all clauses and attachments. Quotes will be due on or about March 11, 2008. Quotes may be submitted to Bureau of Land Management, Ely Field Office; Attention: Kim Ferguson, HC33 Box 33500, Ely, NV 89301. By express or hand delivery to: Bureau of Land Management, Ely Field Office; Attention: Kim Ferguson; 702 No. Industrial Blvd, Ely NV 89301, or by facsimile to (775) 289-1910. An award will be made based on Technical Capability, Past Performance and Price. Quotes shall include the following items: 1) Pricing Schedule including unit price, 2) Company experience as detailed in the solicitation, 3) Relevant Past Performance from the past three (3) years as detailed in the Solicitation, 4) Include TIN and DUNS Number, 5) Offer must be signed, and 6) Representations and Certifications must be submitted (Note: Annual representations and certifications can be completed at Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. If not completed electronically, then FAR Clause 52.212-03; Offeror Representations and Certifications, found in the solicitation package, must be completed.) This is a 100% set-aside for small business. The standard NAICS classification is 115112. Size standard is $6.5 million. The Government intends to award this contract on an all-or-none basis. The solicitation will be issued on or about February 26, 2008. Detailed information, including a Statement of Work and Maps, will be included.
