- This amendment is issued to answer questions and to extend the response date to 19 February 10:00 am. The following questions and answers are provided for this solicitation: Question 1: What is the percentage of silver in each different waste type? Answer: The government does not know the amount of silver in each waste type. Question 2: 1. Is the pickup location at Ft. Bragg or Washington, DC? Answer 1: Fort Bragg, NC is location. 2. Will the pickup time be 1x/q tr, 4x/year on a set schedule or on call as necessary? Answer 2: Pick up will be 1 x / quarter and notified by government. 3. Is the waste(s) already packaged and if so how is it packaged? Answer 3: No, contractor will package. 4. Will there be any nitrocellulose film in the waste stream? Answer 4: No. 5. Will the containers be loaded onto our truck by a fork lift or are they on a loading dock accessible w/a pallet jack? Answer 5: Womack Hospital does not generate enough waste to need a forklift. Contractor will load. The Government stores waste in 66 gallon containers, contractor will remove.
