- 1.0 INTENT The following specifications pertain to the purchase of 6 Fish Way Weir Control Assemblies for use at Little Goose Lock and Dam. 2.0 SCOPE The successful bidder shall be required to modify, if necessary, and deliver th e specified Fish Way Weir Control Assembly Parts to Little Goose Lock and Dam by the date shown in Section 8.0. Also provided at the time of delivery shall be documentation and other items as stated in the specifications. 3.0 GENERAL The C ontrol Assembly Parts shall all be new, not used or refurbished. 4.0 CONTROL ASSEMBLY PART REQUIREMENTS 4.1 REVERSING STARTER Reversing starter shall be 3 phase, 480 volt contacts, size 2,110 volt coil, with 4 auxiliary contacts, 2 no rmally open and 2 normally closed. The reversing starter shall be FURN 22FSF32AA size-2 starter Or Approved Equal . 4.2 CONTROL VOLTAGE TRANSFORMER Control voltage transformer shall be 350VA 480/110. The control voltage tran sformer shall be ACME TA-2-81214 350VA Or Approved Equal . 4.3 TERMINAL STRIPS (QUANTITY 3) Terminal strips shall have 12 terminals, and shall accept wire sizes 10-22, 30 amp. The terminal strips shall be IDEAL 89-212 Or Approved Equal . 4.4 FUSE HOLDER Fuse holder shall be 30 amp, 600 volt block. The fuse holder shall be FRZ 30311 Or Approved Equal . 4.5 LIGHTED PUSH BUTTONS (QUANTITY 3) Push buttons shall be lighted, green, red, and amber. Bu ttons shall have 1 normally open contact and 1 normally closed contact, and shall accept wire sizes 10-22. Buttons shall also be supplied with legend plates to include Raise , Lower , and Stop . The buttons shall be FURN 52PA6B_A Or Approved Equal . 4.6 MACHINE TOOL RELAY Machine tool relay shall be 2 pole, 10 amp contact, 110 volt coil, with 1 normally open & 1 normally closed, and shall accept wire sizes 10-22. The machine tool relay shall be S-A 3TX7120-1DF13 Or Appr oved Equal . 4.7 STRIP HEATER Strip heater shall be 750W, 110V. 4.8 THERMOSTAT Thermostat shall have range of 40-80?F and shall be 120V. The thermostat shall be Honeywell T498A1778 Or Approved Equal . 4.9 REMOTE CONTROL SWITCH Remote control switch shall have name plate and shall include 8 contacts 1 contact closed in local, all contact open in off, and 7 contacts closed in remote. Remote control switch shall also be supplied with legend plate to include Local , Off , and Remote . 4.10 BREAKER Breaker shall be 100 amp, 3 phase, and 480V. 4.11 ENCLOSURE Enclosure shall be NEMA12. The enclosure shall be Hoffman # A352410P Or Approved Equal . 4.12 BACK PLA TE Back plate shall have dimensions 33 x21 and shall be 12 gage painted steel. The back plate shall be Hoffman #36P24 Or Approved Equal . 5.0 WARRANTY All parts shall be covered with a minimum 1 year warranty. 6.0 O PERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUALS Copies of manufactures literature for all control panel equipment shall be supplied upon delivery. 7.0 SHIPMENT AND DELIVERY All items shall be delivered FOB to Little Goose Dam within 6 weeks of contr act award. The contractor shall be responsible for packing and shipping the components in a manner that will ensure undamaged and complete arrival to Little Goose Dam. No shipments are allowed other then normal business hours of Monday-Thursday 6:30AM-5P M, excluding holidays. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
