- Description
- The government shall be issuing a solicitation on or about February 28, 2008 for a Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract in Ray and Lafayette Counties, Missouri. This construction project is for the PL 84-99 levee repairs on the Ray-Lafayette Levee District No. 1 and Henrietta-Crooked River Drainage and Levee District. Work shall consist of re-seeding on the Ray-Lafayette Levee. The work for the Henrietta-Crooked River Levee will consist of the removal/disposal or capping of the damaged drainage s tructure, installing new drainage structure (approximately 120 feet of 84 inch reinforced concrete pipe), smooth steel pipe, or corrugated metal pipe - with concrete head and tail walls, flap gate and 5 connecting bands), re-seeding, gravel surfacing, farm road relocation, and the removal and disposal of stone products utilized during the flood fighting activities. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The NAICS code is 237990 with a size standard of $31,000,000.00. P ackets will be made available through either the FedTEDS website at www.fedteds.gov or at the site visit which is tenatively scheduled for the week of March 10, 2008. The exact date, time, and location will be provided in the solicitation. Please note th at to be eligible for award of this project, you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at the CCR website which is www.ccr.gov. Additionally you must complete your Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at the ORCA website which is orca.bpn.gov. Bids must be received at the Contracting Office by 10:00 AM (local time) on March 31, 2008 in Room 748. Please note that if you are hand delivering your solicitation package, you must enter through security. Any untim eliness due to problems getting past security is at the risk of the vendor. The bid opening room (Room 748) shall not be opened until 9:30 AM. A copy of the attendees at the site showing shall be posted to the Fedteds Website shortly after the visit. Inf ormation regarding the apparent low bidder worksheet shall be made available shortly after bid opening and the final bid abstract shall be made available at http://www.nwk.usace.army.mil/Flood2007/RehabRequest-Contracting.htm.
