- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: This announcement has been amended to DELETE the requirement for In-country training for two (2) mechanics and two (2) drivers in Cairo, Egypt from this Sources Sought Notice; and ADD options to include: Pipe cradle (pair), Dual flashing beacons, Motion Alarm; Platform work lights; 2500 AC watt generator 240V- 50 Hz; Hydraulic oil cooler. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged and reads as follows: This announcement is for the purpose of soliciting U.S. firms in acco rdance with DFARS 252.236-7010 which are interested in submitting an offer for award, for the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), in support of Egypts Ultimate Building Machine (UBM) Program is seeking sources to provide two (2) Scissor Lifts, Brand name or Equal to the Genie GS5390; and this procurement will be executed in accordance with FAR Part 12. SPECIFICATIONS: Scissor Lift- Genie GS5390 or equivalent. Substitutions for a similar item are acceptable. All equipment shall be new and of current desig n and manufacture. Used or refurbished equipment is unacceptable. MEASUREMENTS: Working height maximum* 59 ft 18.15 m; Platform height maximum 53 ft 16.15 m; Platform length: 6.25 in 5.34 m; Single Deck. PRODUCTIVITY: Lift capacity 1,500 lbs 680 kg; Max imum outrigger leveling: front to back 7? side to side 12?; Turning radius - inside 7 ft 1 in 2.16 m; Turning radius - outside 17 ft 6 in 5.33 m; Controls proportional; Drive four wheel; Raise / lower speed 55 / 49 sec; Tires - foam-filled rough terrain 1 2 x 33 in 30 x 84 cm. POWER: Power source Deutz F3L-2011 3 cylinder diesel 49 hp (36 kW), Electrical system to working platform must be or be convertible to 240 V/50 Hz system; Fuel tank capacity 30 gal 113.6 L; Hydraulic system capacity 30 gal 113.6 L. WEIGHT: 16,616 lbs 7,537 kg.; STANDARDS COMPLIANCE ANSI.
