- US Army, Fort Monmouth is seeking interested sources to provide and install Wiring Harnesses and structural mounts known as A-Kits for the Common Missile Warning System (CMWS) on US ARMY rotorcraft and fixed wing platforms. The upcoming A-Kit acq uisition is currently being planned as a competitive requirement to result in a five (5) year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract, consisting of Firm Fixed Priced effort for Hardware items. The type of contract for the Non-Recurring Engineer ing and Installation efforts has not been established at this time, however we anticipate it to be either a cost plus fixed fee or time and material. The following items (with the estimated maximum fielding quantities reflected below, plus an additional 1 0% spares) are to be included in the upcoming procurement: Rotary Wing: 1. UH-60A/L Preplanned Product Improvement (P3I) production A-kits: 980 Kits plus spares, 2. UH-60A/L/M and HH-60L/M 5th sensor A-Kits: 1010 Kits. 3. UH-60A/L A-K its: 112 Kits. 4. War Replacement CMWS A-Kits for any of the US Army rotorcraft and fixed wing aircraft that are equipped with CMWS. 5. AH-64D Extended Block II Aircraft A-Kits : 70 Kits, consisting of 37 parts. 6. CH-47D: (P3I) producti on A-Kits: 200 Fixed Wing: 1. C-12 U : 45 A-Kits. 2. C-12R/V: 10 A-Kits. 3. C-12 Special Project Aircraft: 10 A-Kits. 4. DASH-7/ARL: 8 A-Kits. 5. DASH-7/MARS: 2 A-Kits. 6. C-26: 11 A-Kits. 7. UC-35A: 15 A-Kits.<BR >8. C-23B+: 12 A-Kits The anticipated contract may include Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) or ARH; and NRE and Production Units for OH-58. The anticipated contract may include NRE and Prototype installations for the following: C-12 Special Projec t, RC-12D, RC-12H, RC-12G, C-23B, DASH-7 ARL, DASH-7 MARS, C-26, UC-35B. The anticipated contract may also include other configurations of these Fixed Wing Platforms. Non-Recurring Engineering may consist of a full technical data package and correspondin g installation instructions with full Government owned data rights. Potential sources must be able to provide warehousing and shipping support for all CMWS components and kits for the entire length of the contract. The offerors shall also clearly show the y possess the Engineering Development and Production Facilities, Modeling and Simulation Capability required to demonstrate USG requirement conformance. The offerors shall demonstrate that they have prior experience building aircraft cablings and are fam iliar with MIL STD production processes. The offerors shall have ISO 9000/9001 Quality Standard Certification and a Configuration Management system in place. The offerors shall be cleared up to the secret level and possess export licenses to ship compon ents OCONUS. Interested sources should respond to this office by 12 March 2008.
