Description
AMCOM issued Request for Proposal (RFP), W31P4Q-08-R-0204 on 04 February 2008. RFP W31P4Q-08-R-0204 is issued as a final RFP. Proposal responses to the RFP should be submitted no later than the closing date stated in the RFP and/or any applicable ame ndments. Issuance of RFP W31P4Q-08-R-0204 is for an AMCOM requirement to produce a Modernized Joint Attack Munition Systems (JAMS) M299 Missile Launcher. This requirement is for a light weight multi-platform missile launcher in the current and future forc e that shall support multiple platforms and missiles, ensures maximum commonality across launcher configurations, and requires full airworthiness qualification. The modernized M299 launcher shall be required to carry and launch the JAMS Project Office (PO ) family of HELLFIRE missiles and the Joint Air-to-Ground Missile (JAGM) from various Army rotary wing (RW) and un-manned aircraft system (UAS) platforms. A single award, firm fixed price contract type is anticipated. Selection of a successful contractor will be determined utilizing a best value approach. To propose and perform this effort will require the capability to access classified and otherwise controlled data and possession of a US facilities clearance. Therefore, to be eligible for award, offero rs will be required to demonstrate their capability to access, receive, store, and safeguard the critical technology and/or data required to execute the program.
