- Description
- Region 1 of the Forest Service is looking for sources that are small business or small business with a socio-economic standing. This notice is part of the initial market survey for Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contracts for road and road related work that will be performed in Northern Idaho, Montana, and North Dakota. Multiple awards will be made. Period of performance will be a base year plus 2-4 option years. The sources sought include small business, small disadvantaged business, veteran owned, service disabled veteran owned, 8(a), woman owned, or HUBZone. Anticipated type of work include general road, bridge and structure work on Forest Service roads throughout the Region; repair, maintenance and construction of native surface, gravel or paved roads; road repair and reconstruction due to flood damage; and road decommissioning; repair, maintenance and construction of steel, concrete and timber road bridges; repair, maintenance and construction of trail bridges located near trail heads; repair, maintenance and construction of various other structures such as aquatic passage culverts, bottomless arches, small bridges, retaining walls, and cattle guards; safety features such as signs and guardrail; closure devices; fence work; stream grade and alignment control; and scour protection work.
