Description

Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) Fee Basis Providers. The contractor shall provide personal services of Fee Basis Providers (FBPs) who shall perform physical examination screenings and/or medical consultations on applicants of the Armed S ervices at 62 Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS) for the United States Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM). The contractor shall be fully responsible for all functions of providing fully qualified, professional FBPs to include, but n ot limited to, all aspects of advertising, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, preparation of credentialing packets and placement of FBPs in the 62 USMEPCOMs, ready to perform services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), the established principles and ethics of the medical profession, and professional standards of the medical activity. Services shall be provided on an as needed basis. The FBP will be provided at least 12 hours advance notice prior to the required shift. Duty hours norm ally consist of intervals up to 10 work hours between 0600 and 1800 hours, Monday through Friday (excluding Federal Holidays). Each MEPS is open a designated number of Saturdays each year and service may be required on that day. Request interested partie s provide information as to their capabilities and experience in providing similar services to the points of contact listed below not later than February 22, 2008 in order for the Government to develop a course of action.
