- Description
- Provide irradiation services required for commodity quarantine treatment. Irradiation services at Hawaii Pride about 40 weeks out of the year for approximately 1? hours each week. During each visit, an ARS technician works closely with a radiation technician employed by Hawaii Pride to set up the material which may include but not limited to fruits and vegetables for treatment and operate the system. Term of this requirement 2-19-2008 through 2-18-2009. Services must be performed near to our location USDA ARS PBARC 64 Nowelo St, Hilo HI 96720. The USDA intends on negotiating with the only know source CW Hawaii Pride LLC 16-664 Milo St. Keaau, HI 96749. We anticipate spending less then $25,000 during the contract period to have our material processed. Interested firms are encouraged to proposals to the attention of Fred Gifford as listed in this notice. See Numbered not 22.
