- The purpose of this amendment 1 is to answer questions and to provide clarification. The deadline remains as January 16, 2008. Question. What thickness for the corrugated sheet is required? Answer. For item number 0001 Plastic target backers, no particular thickness is required. The backer will be crimped and must not curl despite repeated use. Note that the backer will be used in firing and the mandatory sample will be fired upon as part of normal USSS testing procedures. Question. What is the pricing history for the backer and silhouette? Answer. For item number 0001 Plastic target backers, no pricing history is available. For item number 0003 PPC threat silhouettes, USSS last paid $.387 each for 34,000 silhouettes. Clarification. A sample portion of 0001 Plastic target backers will be provided upon email request. Please provide your mailing address in your email request. Clarification. A full size sample target for 0003 United States Secret Service Practice Pistol Course target, "PPC," will be provided upon email request. Please provide your mailing address in your email request.
