Delivery: 30JUN2009, 21.00 (BEQ) NOTE: This Solicitation contemplates award of an Indefinite Quantity type contract (See FAR clauses 52.216-18 "Ordering", 52.216-19 "Order Limitations", and 52.216-22 "Indefinite Quantity". NOTE: The Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) for this Solicitation reflects the estimated requirement for a 3 year (36 month) period. NOTE: Any resultant contract shall be in effect from the Effective Date of the contract through a 3 year (36 month) period or until the Maximum Quantity is exhausted whichever comes first Reference "Period of Contract". NOTE: Offers as to Price are to be made only for the Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ). Offers for Minimum Quantity, Maximum Quantity, or Minimum or Maximum Order Quantity are not to be made, and if made, will be disregarded. Evaluation of award will be based on the proposed unit price for the BEQ Quantity and those provisions as set out in Section M. Offers as to Delivery shall NOT be made for the Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ). The Government's Required Delivery Schedule and space for the Proposed Delivery Schedule are set forth below. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Request for Written Quotation will be issued. The anticipated award date will be 60 days after the issuance of this notice. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. See Note(s) 25 and 26.
