- Description
- The High Performance Computing Modernization Program Office (HPCMP) is sponsoring a Performance Modeling and Prediction Workshop, to be held on 21-22 February 2008, in Lorton, VA. This workshop is to familiarize the HPC vendor community with the performance modeling methodology that is being considered for use in analysis and performance predictions in the upcoming TI-09 HPC procurement activity and to provide feedback to TI-08 HPC vendors on performance predictions for their systems. The workshop is constructed as a half-day general session on the morning of 21 February that will consist of a review of the performance prediction methodology and its potential uses in TI-09 evaluation, followed by individual sessions on the afternoon of 21 February and the morning of 22 February with TI-08 vendors and vendors interested in TI-09 to present individual TI-08 performance prediction data to vendors and further discuss the proposed TI-09 methodology.
