Description
STATEMENT OF WORK U.S. Department of the Interior Museum HABS Museum Exhibition This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. BACKGROUND: The Interior Museum works to interpret the history of the U.S. Department of the Interior and promote the current work of its bureaus. By exhibiting the exhibition titled: American Place: The Historic American Building Survey the Interior Museum will be providing Interior employees and the general public with an opportunity to experience the rich history of American architecture as preserved by the Historic American Building Survey and division of the National Park Service. OBJECTIVE: Provide matting and framing services for the exhibition titled: American Place: The Historic American Building Survey to the Interior Museum. SCOPE OF WORK: The vendor is to provide to the U.S. Department of the Interior Museum, 1849 C Street, NW, Washington, DC 20240 with the following: " One inch stained wooden frames with hanging hardware, a three inch acid free matt, and plexiglass - all museum grade, for " 30 drawings each 34 x 44 inches " 45 photographs each 20 x 24 All the frames should be: " 3/4" Wide, 1 1/2" deep, " of Black ash, and " Equipped with standard wire hanging hardware. The matte board should be: " Single width, " White, " With 3 inches, all around, between image and frame. In number, we need thirty frames that are 40" X 50" (these will display architectural drawings) and forty-five that are 20" X 30" (these will display architectural photographs). CONTRACT TYPE: Firm Fixed Price EVALUATION METHOD: Low price technically acceptable, single award PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Drawings and photographs will be delivered to the vendor on May 5, 2008. Finished framed pieces will be delivered to the Interior Museum no later than May 30, 2008. CONTRACT REPRESENTATIVES: " Contracting Officer: Lawrence A.
