- Janitorial Services for various facilities located at Benbrook Lake, Tarrant County. Request for Proposal, W9126G-08-R-0147 will be issued in fifteen (15) days from the date of this synopsis being published. The Contract Specialist for this solicita tion will be Cheryl Hodge-Snead, 817-886-1165; or e-mail at cheryl.d.hodge-snead@usace.army.mil. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Fort Worth District, is soliciting for janitorial services for facilities located at Benbrook Lake that will include; Restr ooms, Picnic/Camping Units, Group Picnic Shelters, Grounds Cleaning and other facilities (i.e., drinking fountains, fishing and courtesy docks, trailer dump stations, etc.). Cleaning services range from cleaning all fixtures, floors, walls (interior and e xterior), window, window sills, partitions, ceilings, benches, showers, and toilet stalls to sweeping, scrubbing, washing (using water blasting equipment). Benbrook Lake is located entirely in the Tarrant and the lake is generally bounded on the west by H ighway 377, by FM 1187 on the South, Old Granbury Road on the East, and by Lakeside Drive on the North. The proposed contract is for a Firm-Fixed Price Contract with a Base Period consisting of one (1) year period of performance with four (4) Option Per iods consisting of one (1) year period of performance for each option period. The contractor is responsible for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform cleaning services at the reservoir/lake. Janitorial Services North American I ndustry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561720. Small Business Size Standard is $15 Million. This requirement is being 100% Set-Aside for Small Business, Solicitation W9126G-08-R-0147 will be issued on or about 25 February 2008, with proposals due on or about 25 March 2008 (unless otherwise stated in the solicitation). The Solicitation will contain information on a mandatory Site Visit to be held on/around 4 March 2008 at Benbrook Lake. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solici tation to the lowest price, responsive/responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation. This solicitation will be issued via Internet only. Notification of amendments shall be made via Internet only, as well. It is therefore the contractors responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation.
