- Janitorial Services for Whitney Lake Office and Whitney Power Plant. Request for Proposal, W9126G-08-R-0150 will be issued in fifteen (15) days from the date of this synopsis being published. The Contract Specialist for this solicitation will be Che ryl Hodge-Snead, 817-886-1165; or e-mail at cheryl.d.hodge-snead@usace.army.mil. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Fort Worth District, is soliciting for janitorial services for facilities located at Whitney Lake Office and Whitney Power Plant that will include; Office Rooms, Conference Rooms, Restrooms, Kitchen and Break Rooms, Building Exterior and Grounds, Windows, Steam Cleaning of Carpets and Upholstery, and mowing of grounds. Whitney Project Office is located on Highway 22, approximately seven mile s Southwest of Whitney, Texas on 285 CR 3602 and Whitney Power Plant is located at the Whitney Dam, approximately seven miles Southwest of Whitney, Texas at 344 CR 3602. The proposed contract is for a Firm-Fixed Price Contract with a Base Period consistin g of one-year period of performance with four Option Periods consisting of one year period of performance for each option period. The contractor is responsible for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform cleaning and mowing servi ces at Whitney Project Office and Whitney Power Plant. Janitorial Services North American Industry Classification System Code is 561720. Small Business Size Standard is $15 Million. This requirement is being 100% Set-Aside for Small Business, Solicitatio n W9126G-08-R-0150 will be issued on or about 25 February 2008, with proposals due on or about 25 March 2008 unless otherwise stated in the solicitation. The Solicitation will contain information on a mandatory Site Visit to be held on/around 6 March 2008 at Whitney Project Office and Whitney Power Plant. This contract will be based on best value to the Government, which may or may not result in accepting the lowest priced offer. This solicitation will be issued via Internet only. Notification of amendments shall be made via Internet only, as well. It is therefore the contractors responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation.
