- Description
- The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) (iii). This announcement closes at 1530 (EST) on 14 February 2008. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation number is F4F2AA7332A001, North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811213, Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 4812 (size standard $6.5M). Due to its proprietary disposition, the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(i). The proposed source is P & R Communications Service INC., Dayton, Ohio. The items being procured are: Normal Service, Maintenance, Annual Inspection, testing and Emergency Repair for the Motorola Scad System. The contractor shall furnish all equipment, labor and materials and shall perform all operations necessary to complete the work.
