- Description
- The Louis Stokes VA Medical Center located at 10701 East Boulevard, Cleveland, Ohio 44106 is seeking a vendor for a firm fixed price service contract to perform installation for an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) in our Cath and Electrophysiology (EP) Labs. These feeders will tie into existing circuit breakers. They will be connected to a battery rack for uninterrupted power supply within these Labs. Please submit technical specification information if quoting a competitive equivalent product for best value determination. F.O.B. Destination is preferred, if shipping is not included in price please provide a separate line item for shipping. Government will arrange for shipping if the estimated cost for handling is over $250. Please send GSA Schedule Price List, Federal Supply Schedule, Mandatory Supply Schedule, SDVOB, and VOB, 8A, WOB, SB and open market quotes to glen.johnson@va.gov. Open market quotes will be evaluated only if GSA scheduled quotes do not meet the minimum requirements. This solicitation will be available on or before February 16, 2008. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the government. All Offerors shall be registered with CCR database at www.ccr.gov prior to award of any contract. Statement of Work for the Feeders to the Cath & EP labs for Uninterrupted Power Supply with shunt trip breakers " Install (1) - 2 inch EMT conduit from surgical substation to Catheter & EP labs " Install 3/0 conductors in 2 inch conduit " Install (1) - 1 inch EMT conduit from surgical substation to Catheter & EP labs " Install (1) CAT V cable in 1- inch conduit " Feed (1) new UPS from existing electrical panel and 100 amp breaker at 480 volts " Set battery rack and UPS in place (battery rack and UPS supplied by VA) " Connect battery rack to UPS electrically " Mount and install (2) shunt trip breakers (breakers supplied by VA) " Install control panel from shunt trip breakers ( control supplied by VA) " Install (6) 2- inch by 48 inch Greenfields from central panel to existing duct " -Work to be performed during normal work hours " Contractor to provide a copy of their Lock out tag out policy " Arc flash safety policy NFPA 70 must be followed
