- Description
- This contract will be synopsized and solicited as a commercial item contract. The synopsis will be open for 5 days and the solicitation will be available for approximately 16 calendar days. The intent of this contract is to use wire rope, tree climbing equipment, pulleys, winches, and ropes to construct an overhead conveyance system to move building elements from the Falk Train Barn site across creek to a nearby road. Contractor will remain on site to operate the conveyance system while Forest Service provided work crews dismantle the historic barn. Once work is completed the conveyance system will be disassembled by the contractor.Contractor Responsibility: The Contractor shall provide everything--including, but not limited to, all equipment, supplies, transportation, labor, and supervision--necessary to complete the project, except for that which the contract clearly states is to be furnished by the Government.
