PCB CONTENT: THE MANUFACTURER MUST CERTIFY THAT THE TRANSFORMER DOES NOT CONTAIN ANY PCB's. THERE IS TO BE NO DETECTABLE LEVEL OF PCB's AT A DETECTION LIMIT OF LESS THAN 0.1 (ZERO POINT ONE) ppm. THIS LIMIT IS A JEGS (JAPAN ENVIRONMENTAL GOVERNING STANDARDS) REQUIREMENT THAT APPLIES TO MARINE CORPS BASES JAPAN. AN ACCEPTABLE STANDARD TEST METHOD IS ASTM D4059. 7.
