- Description
- The 96th Contracting Squadron at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a requirement for Base Level Software Support Services (BLSSS). This acquisition will be solicited in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting By Negotiation Procedures. Period of performance is expected to be from 1 July 2008 through 30 June 2009, with four, additional one-year options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541519 and the small business size standards $23 million. The solicitation/Request for Proposal (RFP) is a total Small Business, competitive 8(a) set aside. All certified 8(a) small business contractors are encouraged to participate. The BLSSS Solicitation will be posted on, or about, 4 March 2008. CLIN 0001: The contractor shall provide software support services for managed software requirements, and all materials, information and labor required to accomplish such services. Services include duties required to procure/buy software and/or bundled maintenance, integration, and general support to meet commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software, documentation, and licensing issues in a multi-vendor, distributed network environment. The contractor shall distribute and monitor vendor documentation, software updates, and licenses for all customers. Contractor direct interfacing with customers and Government Quality Assurance Personnel (QAP) shall be required. This is a Fixed-Price Line Item. CLIN 0002: Software and Licenses: This is a Cost-Reimbursable (No-Fee) Line Item. CLIN 0003: Scheduled Reports; contractor shall manage and submit two monthly reports: This is a NSP Line Item. /// All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. All prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR) at www.ccr.dlsc.dls.mil prior to the anticipated date of award.
